Adopting a Companion Animal from GHS
Glendale Humane Society is dedicated to rescuing and caring for unwanted and abandoned companion animals and placing them in loving, permanent new homes. We strive to carefully match our dogs and cats to appropriate households. We call this our Second Chance Program.
The addition of a new companion animal should be considered a lifelong commitment. We require all family members to meet any dog or cat you wish to adopt from us. Having everyone in the household participate in the process lessens the chances of our animals being returned to us due to avoidable conflicts.
Adoption Forms
Canine Adoptions Include:
- Spay/Neuter
- Vaccinations: DA2PPv, IN Bordetella and Rabies
- Parasite treatment
- HomeAgain/AVID microchip
- Canine Parenting Class
- One hour private training session with a Glendale Humane dog trainer
Feline Adoptions Include:
- Spay/Neuter
- Vaccinations: FVRCPC (Cats), DA2PPv, Rabies and IN Bordetella (Dogs)
- FeLV/FIV testing for all cats
- Parasite treatment
- HomeAgain/AVID microchip

- Cats - $135.00
