Volunteers are what make Glendale Humane Society possible. Without compassionate and dedicated volunteers, we wouldn’t be able rescue, adopt and love the hundreds of dogs and cats each year. Volunteers work alongside others who share the same goals. It is a fun and rewarding opportunity to get “paws” on while caring for our four-legged friends.

Our volunteer opportunities require a weekly commitment of meeting with our professional trainers every Wednesday afternoon. This is the ONLY day volunteers work our trainers.  Please note that GHS cannot accommodate those seeking to fulfill court-ordered community service and all volunteers must be 21 or older. If you are under 21, you might try contacting Pasadena Humane Society who accepts volunteers ages 15 and older.

If you are interested in volunteering with GHS and you meet the above criteria, please email us. Tell us a bit about yourself so we can see if your skills and availabilities fit our needs.

Check out other pages on our website to find additional ways you can help GHS accomplish our mission.

Thank you!
